In the summer of 2015, I had a discussion with several members of this group, specifically, Peter G Neumann and others. Could we please return to this discussion? I am assuming here that the reason you are focussing on flooding is because there is a dire need to find solutions during this winter season in North America. A Good Suggestion to All Travellers Worldwide Regarding Sleep Deprivation

Most travellers who come to airports are totally stressed out due to sleep deprivation. They figure they'll come to the airport and sleep on the plane. While they're getting to the plane, during ticketing and at the waiting area, they become enraged and cause problems for everyone else. Decreasing Stress Levels at Airports by Creating a Zen-Like Environment for Airport Travellers and Workers

You've got to start designing airports around the world to become more Zen-like. What I mean by this is to find ways to decrease stress levels through soft lighting, noise reduction, better internal infrastructure and designing hallways and airport paths indoors to be Zen-like and effective.
